Coach Jody has always appreciated any athletics that don’t require a person to be tall! At a young age, she was drawn to weight-lifting and was accustomed to an active life growing up on a farm. Living in a small community, she had the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of sports, earning awards in both volleyball and cheerleading.
Easy access to home grown meats and vegetables fostered a love of cooking with whole ingredients. A mother of four, she enjoys CrossFit on a recreational level. She believes firmly that to ensure you can care for others, you must take care of your body through exercise and appropriate nutrition. She loves to see her children’s desire to “do a kids WOD” and recently found her 18-month-old doing burpees without any prompting, 30 of them!
